Following the incredible success of Heilala 9s 2025 here in Queensland, we’re taking the next step — to the homeland.

In 2026, QTRL is open to journey back to Tonga for the Heilala 9s at Teufaiva Stadium, the heart of Tongan rugby.

Our mission: to take open men’s and women’s teams from Queensland to compete on island soil, reconnecting with our roots, our families, and the spirit of who we are as Tongans.
